Perfect Pitch Interface (PPI)

The PPI (Perfect Pitch Interface) is an intelligent interface module to convert the wire based fieldbus of the superordinated PLC to the system internal SSB-Bus. The communication interface is used for the realisation of decentralized control of the 3 axis of the pitch system. That means that the PPI works as a master to the three PPD, but as a slave to the superordinated PLC. The PPI realises customer specific functions and allows the customer specific mapping of existing information, states and selectable control commands, but also the generating and coupling of logical functions by the user. In addition it is also possible to connect an IPC (industrial PC) via the Ethernet interface for protocolling of actual data and if necessary also for special control functions.
